Apply for Disaster Unemployment Benefits

If you lost work or were unable to get work as a result of Hurricane Ida, and live in a designated disaster area, you can now apply for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) through November 2, 2021. DUA is available to both employed and self-employed workers. Designated disaster areas include the following parishes: Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, Pointe Coupee, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana.
